Meet the Team behind RepScout

We're building a fairer, more equitable future for search and placement: one that helps headhunting agencies find hidden talent and gives every candidate a fair shot.

Our Mission

Artificial intelligence has permanently transformed the job-seeking landscape and disrupted headhunting firms' ability to identify top talent. The "AI-enabled candidate" can now submit a tailored application to a role with just a click, often for positions they haven't researched or engaged with. As a result, hidden talent goes undiscovered as search teams have to sift through hundreds of applicants, often rejecting 90% without consideration.

This is why Tim decided to build RepScout, a platform designed to help headhunting agencies save time and money by avoiding lengthy interview processes or costly mis-hires. All while reducing bias, reaching a wider pool of candidates, and improving search and placement procedures. Previously untapped talent is given the opportunity to shine, rather than being lost in a sea of AI applicants.

Today, Repscout is on a mission to build the world's first true one-stop platform that automates and streamlines the entire search process from discovery to placement. By combining intelligent matching, automated top-of-funnel vetting, and deep hiring insights, Repscout aims to help headhunting agencies place faster while giving top talent a clearer, more efficient path to the right opportunities. 🚀

Founder & CEO/CTO

Tim is a software engineer and AI builder who has spent the past decade transforming complex technology into products that people actually use.

Before founding RepScout in early 2025, Tim worked at several large B2B and B2C organisations, including Dataminr and the BBC, helping to develop complex high-traffic applications. This experience included leading a team building a real-time risk management application that utilised cutting-edge machine learning to analyse vast streams of public data. His work was even used within the White House Situation Room for global event notifications.

With a passion for utilising technology to drive positive societal impact, he previously founded and ran a profitable startup in the arts sector before launching his current venture.

The combination of this prior experience provided him with a broad set of technical skills and a business-first approach, as well as a deep understanding of technical best practices and scalable architectures. Meaning full-stack solutions are built not only to a top-standard but also led by market demands rather than assumptions.

Now, Tim is working towards building a fairer and more equitable jobs market, with a strong mission to resolve the issue of the AI-enabled candidate and to continue to allow less experienced candidates to succeed.
